Land conservation supports the fabric of every community by helping landowners make specific choices about how they want their land to be used in perpetuity. Those landowners include cattle ranchers, farmers, municipalities, corporations and private individuals.
Making deliberate choices about how land is used in North Texas is vital to protecting the quality of life for the population that lives here. Conserved land provides natural barriers to protect water quality, open space and natural places for recreation, land where food is grown and development choices that can help combat pollution.
If you are a landowner who is considering putting a restriction on your land to save it in perpetuity, please review the PDFs below. You may also contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 469-200-4085 to speak with Connemara’s Conservation Director.
