Total Solar Eclipse Viewing at Connemara Meadow April 8, 2024

View the rare total eclipse on Monday, April 8th from the beautiful Connemara Meadow Nature Preserve.

Located on the border of Allen and Plano, Texas, this 72-acre nature preserve is being actively restored to native Blackland prairie.

Limited parking for the eclipse viewing will be available inside the meadow via the Bass Gated Entrance, located in the alley behind the intersection of Bass Drive and Roberta Drive in Plano:  Google Map Link

Eclipse starts at 12:23pm with totality at 1:41pm

Due to limited parking available at the meadow,  please walk, bike, or ride share if possible.  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy this natural wonder surrounded by nature!

Commemorative t-shirts will be available for $20, with proceeds going toward our meadow restoration project.
